THE BEST OF ‘X’

Right now the celeb / social token meta rages on which on the face of it looks like it is throwing shade towards Solana as an ecosystem, but is this actually a net positive for the ecosystem?

Things to note:

  • All press is good press

  • Celebrity Meta / Tate wars etc is driving attention to Solana.

  • Driving more users to the chain.

  • Lots of strong community driven memes are on heavy discount $WIF / $POPCAT / $MICHI + more.

Secondly, we feel that soon enough, Utility tokens will again start to catch a big. The meme coin supercycle is in full swing. But as Global liquidity increases and with several AI based tokens bottomed out, there is now significant room for upside.

In this week’s pick, I wanted to share a tool that I find super helpful and use daily to give a quick overview of the hottest tokens being discussed on X (Twitter).

The best part? They have Free Version. Thats right. This alpha won’t cost you a dime!

Leak Me, is a website that collates the top trending tokens on X and ranks them based on mentions across a 24 hour period. This provides an easy snapshot view of what is being discussed, so you don’t ever miss a thing.

If you like investing in tools to better your flow of alpha then Leak me does offer a premium version which allows check Twitter mentions on different time frames.

However, for me, the free version gives a perfect birdseye view of what the most poignant topics and tokens are on Crypto twitter.

Further on from last week, I highly recommend familiarising yourself with the $TON blockchain. It just surpassed ETH in daily active addresses. Being early to projects on new chains that are poised for strong growth, provides opportunity with significant upside.

Shopify Update - Expansion Boom

  • Shopify has announced that it now supports hundreds of Crypto Tokens.

  • The payment platform Helio, which provides the Solana Pay plugin has confirmed that payments are direct between merchant and buyer.

  • In the first 6 months of the initial version launched last year, over $50m in transactions were processed for over 200 stores saving merchants approximately $1m in fees.

Building on success is what we love to see.

The numbers also keep getting crazier as it is estimated that if 10% of e-commerce payments move to the blockchain, this plugin will save retailers an estimated $500bn.

There will no doubt be a queue of merchants lining their sites up for the Degenz to digitally rummage.

We know where any excess is going.

SEC Settlement - A Fine Like We Haven’t Seen Before

  • The SEC has settled with Terraform Labs and Do Kwon.

  • The total sum to be paid is around $4.5 billion.

  • Do Kwon is personally liable for $204m for this sum.

🕵️ Scoops take: 

Do Kwon thought fighting his extradition to the U.S. or South Korea was his biggest problem… he now has 204 million (just the 203,999,901 more than Jay Z)

This is a real heavy-handed message from the SEC and they will likely send the shockwaves through the space like they intended.

With a heavier penalty imposed than the one on Binance, any thoughts about the SEC feeling a little charitable can be forgotten.

Rather Terra Labs than us anyway.

Biden Campaign Development - If You Can’t Beat Them…

With some members of the campaign accepting the weight Crypto carries it’s no surprise that Biden will open that digital wallet.

Celebrity memes have been the talk of the town over the last week, so expect plenty more Presendtial memes to hit the exchanges.

In the eyes of the Crypto world, Trump remains 3 steps ahead.

🏆 WEEKLY WINNER🏆

$DADDY

It was the battle of Iggy’s $MOTHER against Andrew Tate’s $DADDY and there is only one winner this week.

$DADDY raced through a $300m market cap making early investors huge gains.

There has been a retracement to around $240m but with buyers outweighing sellers and $71.6m of volume in the last 24 hours, it has been a crazy launch.

The meme era continues.
