Coinbase is known for its accessibility & user-friendly UX & UI. This should allow users to easily trade on a chain with confidence, offering a frictionless pathway to the wild world of on-chain degeneracy.

Who is Coinbase’s main customer base? Retail. What does Retail love? Memes. What is the number one meme on BASE?….

Sitting now at $600M Mcap, a 2X since we last shared it in here, is slowly but surely becoming the number 1 meme on base.

The meme sits in the Matt Furie family of internet memes, much like Pepe. Now with Coinbase poised to onboard over 1 billion users onto its chain, $BRETT emerges as a standout meme coin. Unlike its counterparts, which have faltered in recent weeks, $BRETT remains unfazed, hovering near all-time highs and boasting a market cap that has soared upwards.

Would we Ape more in right now? Well, a better entry may lie ahead. I think this will run into the multiple billions regardless, so if you can stomach so downside for ultimately higher in the future, ape away. But if you’re looking to pick up a bargain, the $5-6 cent range could be a good buy zone.

SEC Declares War Again - It Has a Devastating Impact.

• The SEC has launched a fresh attack on the industry.

• They have served Uniswap with a Wells Notice, a notice of possible enforcement action.

• Following the proposed lawsuit, Uniswap’s Token plummeted 10% within an hour and has yet to recover (at the time of writing) back above $10.00

The SEC know what they are doing here, Uniswap is the largest Decentralized exchange in the industry.

With over $2 Trillion in total volume since launching in 2018, there is no disputing how massive Uniswap is to the Crypto community.

It is only a Wells Notice for now, but that is just a bit of foreplay before the main event of a lawsuit that Uniswap expects and has promised to fight.

We have to ask the SEC, where were the notices for FTX, Celcius and 3AC before it was too late?

Asia Goes BTC Crazy - The Continent Can’t Get Enough

• Countries in Asia have had a very bullish week on all things Bitcoin.

• Hong Kong is set to announce Bitcoin ETFs on the 15th of April

• South Korea will approve Bitcoin ETFs after the Crypto-friendly party wins the election.

• Chinese fund managers are launching Bitcoin ETFs.

🕵️ Scoops take: 

It is almost as if the Continent wanted to wait 3 months to see if the ETFs were successful.

Well, Bitcoin pre-ETF in the U.S. was at $38k, it reached a new ATH and currently sits at $70k.

For the pump to keep going, it needs global adoption and mass support.

Having 3 giants from the region nailing their colours to the Bitcoin mast, is a serious sign of intention.

There are a few heavy hitters left in the region that we could do with making similar announcements.

Patience is key, we are growing.

Another Memecoin Trend - It Is Not For The Feint Hearted.

• Following the passing of O.J. Simpson, Degens wasted no time trying to make a quick buck out of the news.

• Shortly after the news broke, a wave of memecoins hit the market adding to the trend of celebrity death-inspired tokens.

• Some of the tokens named “RIP O.J. Simpson” and “Gently Used Leather Gloves” quickly amassed millions of dollars in volume before typically collapsing hours after launch.

• O.J. Simpson is not the first, and nor will he be the last to have his name used in such a way.

If you have been here long enough, you will know things like this are typical of the Degen industry.

News sells, so trending topics fall right into that, and with the ease with which tokens can be generated, you do not need to put 1+1 together.

For those creating the coins on Solana or Ethereum, the cost is extremely low and many are using services like Pump where for a small cost, there will be assistance to deploy the coins.

Just remember, 99.99999% of these coins are worthless, to catch a bit of profit you have to find the one that’ll pump and then time entry and exit perfectly.

It is a tough strategy to deploy but that being said, many have made plenty from it.

$PUPS

It is not just Solana memecoins that are delivering the heavy profits, Bitcoin memecoins are also in the fold.

$PUPS is up heavily over the last week and this comes ahead of the Bitcoin halving and the launch of the Runes Protocol.

They began the week at $22.50 before rallying to a high of $62 and retracing to $55.

With trading daily volume up 252% it has been a crazy week for them.

During the rise, they reached a market cap of $458m.
