NFTs PROJECTS YOU CAN'T IGNORE IN 2023

In this section of 'Where we would blow our ETH', we share what we believe to be some of the best projects to succeed in 2023 with a mid to longer-term time frame.

Sappy Seals - 1.24 ETH Floor

Sappy Seals have been around since Aug 2021, and have survived a number of market conditions. The project has managed to foster an extremely strong community & they love their memes, we hate to labor the point, but memes go a long way in the world of Web3.

Sappy seals have recently dropped their latest release. The Meme Machine. Whilst this may seem a weird move, it could prove to be genius. The Meme Machine will allow for Sappy seal-based memes to be produced with just the click of a button which in turn will aid their virality on Twitter & spread the word of the Seals.

They are certainly innovating & understand that 'the meme is the message'. We expect this project to have a fruitful 2023.

The Plague - Army Frog 0.5 ETH / OG Frog 1 ETH - Floor

We referred to the Plague in our last article, they have survived a harsh bear market and come out thriving. Pons, their founder just came out with a bullish goal-setting thread for 2023 for the project - We highly suggest you read it.

Mutant Hound Collars - 1.4 ETH Floor

The Mutant Hound Collars are currently unrevealed, but that's about to change. Founder Lior.ETH who has been crowned Mutant holder of the year took to Twitter to say the mutant hounds' collar burn will happen on the 11th of January & also dives into the future of the hounds in the article link below.

Full Article Quote - Lior.eth - The Mutant Hounds saga is defining a whole new category for the NFT industry. It's only a matter of time until the NAYC & other universes in Web3 see the growth of 'Layer2' projects built on top of the best base layers & we're excited to be spearheading this movement & providing this concept.

You will be required to burn your mutant hound collar in order to redeem your Mutant Hound, depending on how many holders burn the mutant collar initially and what Hounds are revealed, we expect some turbulent changes in the Floor price of the collars. That being said given the plans set out by the team we expect this project to have a strong a bright future.

Potatoz / The Captainz - 3.75ETH - Floor

If you have been a reader of The Scoop for some time you will know we have discussed Potatoz on a number of occasions, too many to count in fact. They are currently hitting all-time highs due to the fact that (x3) gives you entry into the upcoming Captainz mint (the main PFP project of Memeland). Will the Potatoz drop in price following the mint? maybe, that being said you will be eligible to mint The Captainz, which we expect to perform well. Secondly, Memeland is not a project to leave an NFT collection behind, so it's likely they will have plans for the Potatoz in the future.

Pudgy Penguins - 6.89ETH Floor

Lil Pudgys - 0.64ETH Floor

Since Luca Netz took over the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem the project has gone from strength to strength and has now become highly respected. They have bolstered their team with top advisors (Pudgy Board) & have got serious about building out the brand & franchise. Given the positive traction these guys have gained throughout the bearish period & the positive introduction of new leadership we expect these projects to do very well throughout 2023 and beyond.

Note - Pudgy Penguins are the original collection of the Pudgy ecosystem. Since then they have introduced Lil Pudgy's which have stemmed from the main collection, they offer a cheaper way into the Pudgys ecosystem.

y00ts - 170 $Sol Floor

Led by FrankDeGods y00ts is the second project to Solana's most successful project DeGod's. Though take note, the projects are moving, Frank recently decided to bridge Degods to Ethereum & y00ts to Polygon. More details are to come from the bridge across but it is positive to see them move away from Solana given the chain's connections to FTX.

Both projects have all the ingredients needed for success. Strong leadership, innovating teams that are releasing revenue-generating products & a thriving community to back the project.

With the bridge to new chains upcoming we expect some turbulence ahead, but long term we fundamentally believe these guys will win.

Kubz - Floor price - 1.19 ETH

Kubz is the first drop from the parent project 'Keungz' which holds a floor of 18+ ETH. Kubz will deliver access to all Keungz-related products which includes YogaPets. We bring this project to your attention as they work closely with Memeland. Their model of how they are structured is actually very similar when you look closer.

We have seen the success of Pototoz and Memeland so far & we expect the same for the Keungz ecosystem into 2023.

Otherdeeds - 1.39 ETH Floor

Otherdeed NFTs entitle you deeds to a piece of land in the Otherside Metaverse. It is currently the cheapest entry point in the Yuga ecosystem which are arguably the most successful NFT creator to date. Yuga Labs recently posted a video announcing that the Otherside metaverse is due to awaken. The quality of content these guys produce is not to be ignored & the lengths the team is going to, to build out an immersive world is extensive.

A new year is upon us but some things remain very much the same.

If you were feeling very generous to yourself or a loved one at Christmas you could have picked up from the bottom end at 68ETH. Of course, this is high however it is more about the significance of what the latest rise shows.

The current floor price is 78 ETH with only 4 sales until an 80 ETH floor.

With 36 sales over the last 7 days equating to 2864 ETH and a 10 ETH rise in the floor, this project remains the most in-demand project that everyone wants a piece of.

This year's first weekly winner goes to none other than the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

THE REKT SECTION 😡

He is set to face the Courts this week but a leak has already been released.

If found guilty, he faces an astonishing 115 years in prison.

It's none other than SBF.

We couldn't think of many worse ways to start the new year than being in the dock in-front of a judge but SBF is having just that start,

The leak that has been revealed is that he denies transferring funds from Alameda and is set to plead not guilty to fraud charges.

It's certainly going to be an interesting outcome, especially given his ex-colleagues are set to cooperate with the authorities.
