The gloves are off, it’s time to rumble.

We said there was more to come from the story, we anticipated it would be after Apefest…..we were right.. things escalated quickly (Ron Burgundy voice)

In case you missed it, Ryder Ripps, an artist famous for copying, minting, and selling unofficial versions of popular NFTs as a form of protest, launched RRBAYC which is a clone of the BAYC. Alongside the launch, BURNBAYC was the hashtag of choice across a series of tweets…….brave move.

Well, this one particular “protest” may turn ugly as Yuga Labs took to twitter to advise they have filed a lawsuit (yikes)

We won’t comment further due to the legality issues……we will leave that to Harvey Specter.

Opensea Partners with Klaytn To Improve The Asian NFT Eco-system

NFT’s are the meteor and the earth has been hit, thankfully we don’t need NASA to intervene.

The news of this partnership was deemed big enough to receive its own press release and to be fair it’s justified, as we told you recently, the Chinese market is booming!

Is this a match made in heaven….we aren’t sure yet, Opensea’s product certainly comes with flaws but it’s dominance in the field isn’t to be ignored given they are the pioneers of the marketplace.

We started the headlines with a fight so at least we provided a love story …..time for the next genre

A Bored Ape NFT-themed restaurant not accepting Crypto for payment…..an irony best placed for a government.

When the story broke, it made no sense, it had to be nonsense and thankfully it is as confirmed by Andy Nguyen who took to twitter to confirm the rumors as false.

The initial story got the blood flowing for the haters of our world who lapped it up quicker than Usain Bolt in Beijing 2008 , unfortunately for them, it ended like Bolt’s hamstring in his final race….. try again next time.

Loco launches India’s first E-Sports NFT Platform called Legends.

E-Sports Growing, NFT’s Growing, take the two what do you get….. potential!

The platform which is to be launched in July allows users to own, collect and trade virtual assets involving E-sports.

According to statistics, the E-Sports audience size worldwide in 2021 was over 470 million and global market revenue is just over $1bn…… this ain’t the B leagues!

The fundamentals are there, time for the platform to deliver!

Meta testing NFT’s across Facebook and Instagram

The haters will love this one….Meta has confirmed testing has begun for NFTs to feature on Instagram Stories and Facebook so users can cross-post NFTs on both platforms.

We saw Twitter adopt this earlier in the year and it was a success so this news comes as no surprise.

Crawley Town Fc…..The Metaverse Team

They play in the 4th Tier of English Football so won’t be winning the Champions League anytime soon but they are on the map and some!

They are owned by Wagmi United who are a US based cryptocurrency investment firm and well emersed in all things Crypto / Metaverse. Their 3rd shirt recently went on sale via NFT and today it was announced Adidas would be their new kit manufacturer.

They are continually evolving in all things metaverse so don’t be surprised to see a beer and a burger available via NFT for the upcoming season!

MoonRunners launched this week and has seen serious momentum and success already. A similar style to moon birds but with dogs!.. an instant classic.

As Kanye West sang in the Good life.…they say the best things in life are free.

Moonrunners launched on the 23rd June and similarly to other free mints they come with a bundle of detail in the form of no roadmap and no discord…..they do have a twitter account though.

The 10k collection quickly sold out and the floor is sitting at a cool 0.6ETH with 5.5k ETH traded.

The market sentiment at the time of writing is a little chiller since, before the weekend, this is no surprise since markets remain unpredictable. However good news for you snipers out there. A more fragile sentiment should open up the opportunity to pick up those NFTs you desire. Why not throw some lowball offers out there, someone might just bite...

The Market Update 📊

Market Overview

NFT listings increased this week as many investors took profits off the table after the price rise of $ETH and other crypto assets. However, delistings are slowly back on the rise again over the last 24 hours. The graph also shows us that floors have remained relatively stable this week which is a positive sign for the market.

If we check out the degens making the market possible, sellers still outweigh the number of buyers giving those grizzly bears control. Despite this, the % of holders has increased over the percentage of traders across the last two days. We await the day when the bulls (Buyers) come charging in full force.

Whale Watch 🐋

We have spotted a number of whale trends this week.

1. 23 whales bought 66 Otherdeeds ($527,000).

2. 20 whales bought 173 Artblocks ($354,000).

3. 13 whales bought 43 Dooplicators ($207,000).

Out of the Moby dicks above, Otherdeeds buys caught our attention. There have been a lot of whales buying into the Yuga eco-system and specifically Otherdeeds this week. Historically, this has been a sign of insider information and an impending announcement. With the Otherdeed demo expected in 3 weeks, it is likely a further announcement is imminent. This is something to watch and investing in an Otherdeed could be advantageous ahead of the rest of the market.

Speaking of the Otherside, a deed was the biggest purchase over the last few days. A whale wallet purchased this piece along with a few BAYC and other Otherdeed NFTs. The purchase came in the form of a WETH bid of 269.69weth which equates to over $300,000. This is the 6th most expensive purchase in the history of the project.

Where would we blow 5-10ETH in this market? 💰

This week it’s gotta be Otherdeeds! Historically, the insider trading seen at the moment on Otherdeeds and the rest of the Yuga eco-system is normally a great indicator of impending bullish news. This has happened multiple times and has been one of Yuga’s main flaws. 23 of the biggest whales in the space bought up Otherdeeds this week, many of them buying multiples and some of the rarest pieces in the collection.

Things look bullish AF for Otherdeeds. Sales and liquidity on the collection are up around 9% this week. Market-cap is up 5%. However, most tellingly volume is up 50% this week. This all suggests the insider trading is true, coupled with increasing excitement for the upcoming demo and airdrop.

It is commonly known that on July 16th Yuga will be showing the community a tech demo. This demo will likely be a success & push the floor price in a positive direction. Moreover, all holders are expected to be able to participate in this tech demo which is real utility. Finally, it is expected that holders will be airdropped Otherdeeds in a 1:1 basis around August. Thus, there is some free value coming to holders soon which is also pushing the price in a positive direction.

The next few months look like a great opportunity and this is definitely where we would blow 5-10eth this week.
