Well, the company has announced that they will be bringing out a Solana Mobile phone which will be a crypto layer built on Android to make the mobile web3 user experience seamless

Magic Eden valued over $1.5bn

In 9 months today you could have a baby……well in 9 months Magic Eden managed to rival God’s Garden of Eden creation following their latest venture round raising $130m.

Sidney, co-founder, took to twitter to share his biblical story.

The freshly injected capital brings the company’s valuation to $1.6 billion as well as unicorn status.

This isn’t a fairytale for Magic Eden, the now lead Solana marketplace, it’s a dream come true!

Pharrell announced as new Doodles Chief Brand Office and Doodles 2!

In a string of huge announcements at NFT NYC, Doodles made sure they were taking the headlines.

Shortly after announcing Pharrell as the new CBO, the company released details of Doodles 2!

What we know - a new NFT collection is on its way and one that will span millions of avatars via the Dooplicator featuring a variety of traits along with wearable items.

Interestingly the avatars will not be released on Ethereum but we await the details

The price of Doodles has boomed as a result, up in the last 7 days from 10.9 ETH to 15.4 ETH

It’s safe to say Pharrell is still featuring in the charts.

Ledger Expands!

Ledger threw in some huge news in trying to top the announcement charts by unveiling Ledger Market.

Ledger Market will be the new distribution platform enabling artists, brands and users to create, store and distribute NFTs seamlessly and securely. Ledger Market will simply be the only safe place to mint and buy NFTs while safely interacting with this ever-expanding world

The team here at Scoop have all invested in Ledger products…..although we don’t have that Bored Ape yet we have found a great purpose for it!

(Arguably) the world’s greatest footballer Ronaldo has signed a partnership agreement with (arguably) the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and digital asset exchange Binance

No further details have been announced other than the fact its a multi-year deal.

We have approached Lionel Messi for a comment and await patiently……probably forever.

NFT Investors are very much sitting on the fence at the moment and it is a relection of the general crab market were in currently. Which ways will Caesar’s thumb point? With a tonne of positive developments, funding & announcements happening in the space + NFT NYC..despite what the crowd thinks, NFT Scoop are certainly on the positive side of the scale!

The Market Update 📊

After the success of NFT NYC for a number of projects, the NFT market saw a nice bounce among some of the best-performing blue-chip projects. This was due to announcements such as those made by Doodles and Psychedelics Anonymous putting on a classy & well thought out set of events + the long-awaited release of the ‘Devine entities’.

NFT Trading Volume

Opensea volume continues to remain at the levels seen last week. NFT volume appears to currently be in its short-term bottom as we are averaging around $15-$20m per day on Opensea. This is down more than 10x since the days of the bull market when Opensea would consistently trade $150m+ per day. However, this is healthy for the market, it will weed out the worst-performing projects.

This punk was purchased for 825eth this week by whale and blue-chip holder ‘Casuallyrekt.eth’. This NFT is ranked #85 in the Punks collection and was hodled from mint in 2017.

Meebits

With Crypto Punks moving this week we believe that Meebits are a bit of a no-brain play. Like, Punks, Meebits were acquired by Yuga Labs in March. The positive price movement on Punks has sent Meebits up but we believe the best is yet to come. Yuga has self admittedly neglected this project while they built out and launched the Otherside. However, with that out the way, and Punks having seen improvements and news last week it would make sense for Meebits to come next.

Founder of BAYC, Gordon Goner tweeted back in April: “Took my first week off in forever a little while back. Found myself writing out ideas for @MeebitsNFTs utility the entire time. Big things take time, but the whole team is really excited to start working on Meebits when the Otherside launch is through.”

Meebits currently sits on a floor of 4.3eth. However, with a bullish announcement, this could very easily double. We would expect to see an announcement regarding the future of Meebits in the next one or two months.
