  • NFT market shows overall flat price action, with Moonbirds as a notable outperformer, up 10% to an FP of 1.25 ETH.

  • A clear winner this week was Sugartown Oras’s which has rallied significantly.

  • PFP’s still dominate market share, but it’s only a matter of time before ART & Gaming NFTs accelerate further & steal market share.

  • Mega Buy this week was a Zombie CryptoPunk sale boasting a whopping 420 ETH ($693k), not quite the infamous $5 million peak sales, but dropping the best part of a million on an NFT is still pretty bullish.

  • Degenz have definitely moved over to FriendTech for their gains. Remember what we say - Shiny Object Syndrome’

  • Friendtech remains active, with Total Value Locked (TVL) reaching a new all-time up now to $35.9 million.

  • The new user growth rate sees a substantial slowdown, with 8,350 new users recorded yesterday, down from 13,727 the day prior (a 40% decrease).

  • Wider adoption of the (3,3) meta, characterized by reciprocal buying and holding for airdrops, fuels recent activity.

  • A short-term boost in key values expected, but long-term value is likely to be determined by the perceived worth of associated rooms.

YU-GI-OH CREATOR ANNOUNCES NEW BLOCKCHAIN GAME ‘PROJECT ZIRCON’

Nouns proposed “fork”- Over half of the holders opted to leave withdrawing $27m worth of ETH from the treasury.

It is hard enough for projects to onboard new investors, but the main challenge should be how they hold on to their current community and keep them onside.

It is clear there has been a total loss of confidence in the leadership and the community has spoken.

When floor prices hit over 100 ETH there is that added extra pressure to deliver that they have struggled with.

Nouns have it all to do now, especially if they want to see anything like previous successes.

Magic Eden incorporated compressed NFTs - The aim is to provide a cost-efficient scalable alternative to owning digital collectibles.

At a glance 🔎

• Compressed NFTs data is stored off-chain which allows production in far larger quantities with lower mint fees.

• By having much lower fees, they see this as an easy access point for new investors to begin collecting.

• 1 million NFTs can be minted with around $110 compared to Ethereum which costs anywhere from $3 to $30 per NFT.

🕵️ Scoops take:

Compressed NFTs should in theory accelerate the adoption of NFTs. Cheaper minting & production should make it easier for creators in the music, gaming & entertainment world to experiment with larger collection sizes.

Not only that, but the cost of minting & purchasing NFTs will lower the barrier to entry for new market participants to try out NFTs.

This development will be interesting to watch moving forward.

Panerai NFTs - Digital passports will be issued with watches providing a certificate of authenticity and other benefits.

• The rollout of the NFTs will be from October 3rd.

• Each NFT will contain information about the watch as well as act as proof of the watch’s authenticity.

• The NFTs will be transferrable to the next holder.

• We still sit on the side of fear in the markets, but we expect before long this will turn to greed. We aren’t out of the woods just yet. But soon Valhalla.

• Interestingly we saw a massive spike in open interest rates for Bitcoin yesterday, if you don’t know, Open interest rates are an indication of how many positions, both longs & shorts are placed in the market. Increasing open Interest is an indication of activity in the market.

• But very quickly that Nuked and we round-tripped, but it is a good sign of times to come.

• With regards to $BTC price action, we pushed higher into the mid-27 K regions this week and now sit at $26.3K.

• We believe a pushdown to the lower range is likely still to come.

Sometimes when you take a break from the space you may wish you extended it.

Billionaire, Mark Cuban, returned over the weekend and was met with a hack where he lost $870,000

The hack was a result of downloading a counterfeit version of MetaMask.

Lesson to learn - always check the links you are downloading. A lot of the time when you search for something on Google, there will be an Ad website at the top.

Not many have that kind of money to be stolen, but most of the time, anything stolen from a hack is preventable.

Are we back in the summer of 2022?!

The free mint craze was everywhere and just like that, it popped up again.

It’s not a surprise - in our Newsletter 15th of August, we felt this project could redefine gaming’s future, making it more immersive, rewarding, and impactful.
